Camp Lejeune Water Contamination Claims: Denied?

Each morning when you wake up you drink a glass of water, brush your teeth and take a shower. What do all of these things have in common? Well, if you lived at Camp Lejeune Marine Base, between 1953-1987, it meant you were ingesting contaminated water. You probably had no idea at the time that a daily routine such as drinking a glass of water could someday lead to a number of different cancers, diseases and illnesses.

At first you may not have known that some of the illnesses, birth defects and diseases in your life and your family member’s lives were related to the water contamination.

Cancers such as:

Liver                     Ovarian                Lung

Kidney                  Cervical                Leukemia

Breast                  Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

Other related medical conditions:

Stunted growth

Low birth weights

Neural tube defects

Heart defects

Cleft palate

Birth defects
